Basic Requirements
The application to the CJTU international program
must be in good health, hold a high school diploma
or higher education background and be willing to
observe the laws and decrees of the People’s
Republic of China and the rules and regulations of
CJTU.
Admission Requirements
Any foreign student who holds a high school diploma,
and have attains satisfactory scores on the Chinese
Proficiency Test (HSK elementary “C” or over) may
apply to enter the CJTU International Program.

2. Application and Requirments
- Those who want to apply for the CJTU
International Program should ask the Foreign
Affairs Office of CJTU for the “CJTU
International Programs Admission Brochure”, the
“CJTU International Program Application” and the
“Physical Examination Records for Foreigners”
and tell CJTU about his/her education background
and Chinese language level. The applicants
should deliver the following materials :
- the “CJTU International Program
Application” with photos
- diploma and School Transcripts (copies or
notarized statement)
- A physical examination must be taken in
accordance with the “Physical Examination Record
For Foreigners” sent by CJTU and the “Medical
Report” (with a photo) and a copy of the Blood
Test Report be posted back to CJTU latter. To
remember to bring the original Blood Test Report
for registration.
- Applications will be accepted from February
to May. The new semester begins on September 1.
- An applicant for the Graduate Program who
has failed to pass entrance exams may apply for
an Undergraduate Program before he passes the
entrance exam for Graduate Program.
- The applicant who miss the admission
requirements will receive an “Admission Notice”
issued by CJTU and a “Visa Application Form”
(JW202) issued by the National Education
Ministry of the People’s Republic of China. The
applicant should present the above documents,
Medical Report and original Blood Test Report to
the nearest Chinese Embassy for an entry Visa.
Students must be on campus for the registration
within the fixed dates, and bring them with the
above- mentioned document and 8 passports- sized
photos to the Foreign Affairs Office of CJTU.
- Those who apply for Undergraduate Programs
are required to take HSK exam.
- The preparatory Program is designed for
those who do not pass HSK, but are willing to
apply for CJTU International Degree Programs.
3. Certificates and
Transcripts
The CJTU international students including
graduates and undergraduates will graduate with a
diploma and school reports after they have completed
all courses required in the curriculum and obtain
all the necessary credits. The graduate and under
graduate students will receive their degrees in
accordance with “The Degrees Regulations of the
People’s Republic of China” after they have passed
the thesis defense. Preparatory students will
receive certificates.
4. Lodging, Boarding and
Medical Care
- CJTU provides flats with two or three rooms
in the International Students’ building for
international students
- There are several dining halls on campus.
International students can have meals in the
campus dining halls or cook by themselves.
- For the medical care, the students may
choose either the campus hospital or downtown
hospital at their own expenses.
